In this example we intend to simulate the Uboot roof under the live and dead loads in the Abaqus software. As you observe in the picture, the length and width of the Uboot roof is 13 m

In this model the Uboot parts are positioned beside one another at a certain distance, then two wire meshes are placed above and below these parts and finally the concrete pouring is implemented. The Uboot parts cause hollow cavities to be created in the concrete , leading to decrease of the concrete weight and low amount of concrete being used

In this problem , we use a static general and in this step , we apply live and dead loads of roof

We used the concrete damaged plasticity (CDP) for defining the concrete and the wire mesh (rebar) is made of St-37
