In this example we intend to simulate the water tower under the earthquake loading in the Abaqus software
The time period of earthquake is 10 seconds during which a ground acceleration record is applied to the bottom of the Model directed at X axis
In this question, nearly 60% of the whole tank has been filled with water and as you observe in this picture, the weight of water and the tank has been considered

hi i want to learn CEL simulation for flexible tank structure (instead of rigid) to observe sloshing frequency of water in it, specifically for cylindrical tank. i am dont know how to apply boundary condition for fluid part , water is disappearing from tank in dynamic explicit analysis.
