In this example we intend to simulate the hysteresis analysis of the accordion web RBS Connection in the Abaqus software
As you observe in this picture, this Model is composed of Beam, column, panel zone plate, corrugated plate as well as continuity plate
In this question, a cyclic loading is applied to the top of the column and following that It’s hysteresis diagram will be drawn and in this picture the hysteresis diagram gained from the Abaqus software has been compared with experimental results
In this picture, the deformation of the Model undergoing the cyclic loading can be observed
