In this example, we intend to calculate the stress in Truss using the Abaqus software and Analytical Solution and following that, compare the results obtained from the Abaqus software with those of Analytical Solution

The purpose of this analysis is to calculate the stress in member BE

Stress in member BE obtained from the Analytical Solution is equal to 8517 PSI

Stress in member BE obtained from the Abaqus software is equal to 8517.89 PSI

As you observe, the results obtained from the Abaqus software are so close to those gained from the Analytical Solution
