Hysteresis analysis of the steel shear wall with RBS beam Abaqus
In this example we intend to simulate the hysteresis analysis of the steel shear wall with RBS beam in the Abacus software
In this example, a cyclic loading is applied to the upper beam and then the hysteresis diagram of the shear wall will be drawn
This problem consists of two parts: 1- buckling analysis 2- hysteresis analysis
First, buckling analysis is performed and buckling modes are extracted. Then, the initial imperfection is defined using buckling modes
As you observe in this picture, the shear wall is composed of two RBS beams, two columns, one plate and a few stiffeners
In this picture, the hysteresis diagram gained from the Abaqus software has been compared with the experimental results
As you observe, the results gained from the Abaqus software are concordant with those mentioned in the article and their results are identical
